To give you a couple of suggestions – the fantastic Arthur’s Seat and Holyrood Palace are a walk away – and a must do for any trip to the city.
For any golfers – one of the cities most beautiful courses “Prestonfield” is just around the corner and happy to welcome any visitors – just have a look at their website to see this classic course.

We’re also very close to Edinburgh University’s Pollock Halls – so if you are keen to visit a friend or family member – we’re close enough for you to pop in without imposing.
We would tell you about Edinburgh’s Royal Commonwealth Swimming Pool too – but it won’t be available again until Summer 2011 due to refurbishment!
