If you’re staying with us in the next week – there is a fantastic chance to experience a day of true Scottish Tradition – and lots of men in kilts and ladies in tartan dresses! At nearby Bathgate (a short drive away) – on May 29th is the West Lothian Highland Games – a perfect day out for the family – or on your own if you are just exploring. This is a really good chance to see some great traditional Highland Dancing, listen to lots of Bagpipe music as well as seeing men doing heavy athletics.
For those of you from out of town – bring your cameras – this will be a day of photo opportunities as you get a taste of Scottish culture.
